Manchurian Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, cabbage)
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup spring onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Manchurian balls by mixing mixed vegetables, cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper. Shape into small balls and deep fry until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, ginger, and onions. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, chili sauce, and vinegar. Mix well.
  4. Add the fried Manchurian balls and spring onions. Toss everything together until well combined.
  5. Manchurian Fried Rice is ready to be served hot.
