Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the lamb cubes with the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the lamb kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the plain yogurt with the lemon juice to make a dipping sauce.
  5. Serve the lamb kebabs hot, garnished with fresh parsley and accompanied by the yogurt dipping sauce.
