Mandu Dumplings (만두)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package round dumpling wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold and pleat the edges to seal the dumplings.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
  5. Place the dumplings in the skillet and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
  6. Add water to the skillet, cover, and steam the dumplings until the filling is cooked through.
  7. Serve the dumplings with dipping sauce and enjoy!
