Ingredients

  • 1 pack of store-bought mandu (dumplings)
  • 8 cups of beef or anchovy broth
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the broth to a boil.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper to the broth.
  3. Gently add the mandu to the boiling broth and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the mandu are fully cooked.
  4. Stir in the chopped green onions and remove the pot from the heat.
  5. Serve the mandu guk hot in individual bowls.
