Ingredients

  • 1 kg mutton chops
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the mutton chops with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  3. Add the marinated mutton chops and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomato and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in 2 cups of water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 45 minutes or until the mutton is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
