Mango And Lime Sorbet

Mango and Lime Sorbet is a refreshing and tangy dessert that is perfect for hot summer days. This Mauritian-inspired sorbet is bursting with tropical flavors and is incredibly easy to make at home.

Mango And Lime Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, lime juice, and the cooled sugar syrup. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and place it in the freezer.
  4. Every 30 minutes, remove the container from the freezer and use a fork to scrape and stir the mixture, breaking up any ice crystals. Repeat this process for about 3-4 hours, or until the sorbet is smooth and frozen.
  5. Once the sorbet is frozen, it's ready to serve. Scoop into bowls or glasses and enjoy!
