Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
- In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, lime juice, and the cooled sugar syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container and place it in the freezer.
- Every 30 minutes, remove the container from the freezer and use a fork to scrape and stir the mixture, breaking up any ice crystals. Repeat this process for about 3-4 hours, or until the sorbet is smooth and frozen.
- Once the sorbet is frozen, it's ready to serve. Scoop into bowls or glasses and enjoy!
