Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork shoulder, boneless
- 1 cup mango puree
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 slider buns
- 1/4 cup coleslaw (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and place it in a slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the mango puree, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the pork shoulder.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
- Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the cooking liquid.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a portion of the pulled pork on each bun, and top with coleslaw if desired.
