Mango Habanero Chicken Wings
Mango Habanero Chicken Wings are a delicious and spicy dish that combines the tropical sweetness of mango with the fiery heat of habanero peppers. These wings are perfect for a summer barbecue or a game day snack.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 2 habanero peppers, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix together the diced mango, minced habanero peppers, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the mango habanero marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the wings. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and golden brown.
- Serve the mango habanero chicken wings hot, garnished with extra diced mango and sliced habanero peppers if desired.
