Mango Sticky Rice Indulgence (Indulgence de Riz Collant à la Mangue)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak the glutinous rice in water for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain the rice and steam it for 30 minutes until tender.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Place the steamed rice in a bowl and pour the coconut milk mixture over it. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  5. Arrange the sliced mangoes on a plate and top with the coconut sticky rice.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
