Ingredients
- 1 box manicotti pasta
- 1 15-ounce container ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the manicotti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped spinach, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Using a piping bag or a small spoon, fill each manicotti tube with the cheese and spinach mixture.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the filled manicotti in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the manicotti is heated through.
- Let the manicotti cool for a few minutes before serving.
