Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of dumpling wrappers
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place a small amount of the meat mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the dumplings in the skillet and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
  4. Pour the beef broth into the skillet and cover. Allow the manti to steam for about 20 minutes, or until the wrappers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
  5. Serve the manti hot, with a side of yogurt or sour cream if desired.
