Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Place a small amount of the beef mixture onto each dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, creating a small pouch.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the filled dumplings in the skillet and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
  4. Pour the water into the skillet and cover with a lid. Allow the dumplings to steam for about 15-20 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked.
  5. Remove the dumplings from the skillet and serve hot.
