Ingredients
- 16 fresh Manx Queenies (scallops), cleaned
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice to make the black butter sauce.
- Pour the black butter sauce over the cooked scallops and serve immediately.
