Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp five-spice powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper, then place them in a roasting pan.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and five-spice powder.
  4. Pour the maple syrup mixture over the ribs, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the roasting pan with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
  6. Remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting the ribs with the glaze every 10 minutes.
  7. Once the ribs are caramelized and tender, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
