Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp five-spice powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the ribs with salt and pepper, then place them in a roasting pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and five-spice powder.
- Pour the maple syrup mixture over the ribs, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Cover the roasting pan with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
- Remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting the ribs with the glaze every 10 minutes.
- Once the ribs are caramelized and tender, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
