Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, chopped

  • 4 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon hawayej spice blend
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté the onions, carrots, and celery until they start to soften.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and brown them on all sides.
  3. Stir in the hawayej spice blend, then pour in the chicken broth.
  4. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
