Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (700g) lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon harissa paste
  • Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Add the lamb cubes and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
  4. Grill the lamb skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the plain yogurt, chopped fresh mint, lemon juice, and harissa paste to make the spicy dip.
  6. Serve the grilled lamb skewers with the spicy dip on the side.
