Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch tart pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the cold butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. In a small bowl, beat the egg and vanilla extract. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir until the dough comes together.
  4. Press the dough into the prepared tart pan, covering the bottom and sides. Set aside.
