Martabak Manis
Martabak manis is an Indonesian sweet pancake filled with a variety of delicious toppings. It's a popular street food and dessert in Indonesia, and it's perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sweet corn kernels
- 1/2 cup chocolate sprinkles
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Gradually add water while whisking until the batter is smooth.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and brush with a little butter.
- Pour a ladleful of batter into the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
- Sprinkle sweet corn kernels and chocolate sprinkles on one half of the pancake.
- Fold the other half over the filling and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the pancake and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side is golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and drizzle with sweetened condensed milk.
- Cut into slices and serve hot.
