Ingredients

  • 500g fresh fish fillets, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the fish, onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Thread the marinated fish onto the soaked skewers.
  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the fish kebabs for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and slightly charred.
  4. Remove the kebabs from the grill and serve hot with rice or flatbread.
