Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mas rihaakuru (Maldivian fish paste)
  • 1 tablespoon tandoori masala
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, mas rihaakuru, tandoori masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
  2. Marinate the fish fillets in the prepared marinade for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the marinated fish fillets for 6-8 minutes on each side until they are cooked through and have a charred exterior.
  4. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
