Masala Dosa Wraps

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice flour
  • 1/2 cup urad dal (split black lentils)
  • 3 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix rice flour and urad dal with water to make a smooth batter. Let it ferment for 6-8 hours.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. Add turmeric powder, mashed potatoes, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add coriander leaves and mix again. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of dosa batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa. Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until crispy.
  6. Place a portion of the potato masala in the center of the dosa. Roll it up to make a wrap. Repeat with the remaining batter and masala.
