Masala Omelette (bombay Style Masala Omelette)

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs.
  2. Add the chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to the beaten eggs. Mix well.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour half of the egg mixture into the pan and spread it evenly to make an omelette.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is set and golden brown.
  6. Flip the omelette and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining egg mixture.
  8. Serve hot with toasted bread or pav (dinner rolls).
