Masala Pasta (spicy Masala Pasta)

Ingredients

  • 250g pasta
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion until golden brown.
  3. Add the pureed tomatoes, green chili, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the boiled pasta to the masala mixture and toss well to coat the pasta with the spices.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
