Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, bread crumbs, red chili powder, garam masala, chaat masala, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round cutlets.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the cutlets until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Remove the cutlets from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve the masaledar aloo tikki hot with chutney or ketchup.
