Ingredients
- 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi or deep pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add mutton pieces and cook until they are browned.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil separates.
- Add garam masala and mix well.
- Cover and cook on low heat until the mutton is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
