Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 small tortillas

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
  4. Now add the chicken pieces, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Add the sliced bell pepper and cook for a few more minutes until they are slightly tender.
  6. Warm the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave.
  7. Fill each tortilla with the spiced chicken mixture and serve hot.
