Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- While the potatoes are cooking, sauté the mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a pan with 2 tbsp of butter until the mushrooms are golden brown.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with the remaining butter and milk until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the sautéed mushrooms, onions, and garlic, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
