Ingredients
- 2 lbs tapioca (cassava), peeled and cubed
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 3-4 shallots, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Water
Instructions
- Boil the tapioca in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, dry roast the grated coconut until it turns golden brown.
- Add the shallots, green chilies, turmeric powder, and salt to the roasted coconut. Cook for a few minutes.
- Add the cooked tapioca to the coconut mixture and mash everything together.
- Continue to cook and stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
