Ingredients

  • 2 lbs tapioca (cassava), peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 3-4 shallots, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Boil the tapioca in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, dry roast the grated coconut until it turns golden brown.
  3. Add the shallots, green chilies, turmeric powder, and salt to the roasted coconut. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add the cooked tapioca to the coconut mixture and mash everything together.
  5. Continue to cook and stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot.
