Ingredients

  • 4 trout fillets
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 green chili, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Coat the trout fillets with the marinade and let them sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the sliced onion until golden brown.
  4. Add the marinated trout fillets, chopped tomato, and green chili to the pan.
  5. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the trout is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
