Ingredients
- 1 cup paneer, cubed
- 1 cup green peas
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked and ground to a paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add the tomato puree and cook until the ghee separates from the mixture.
- Add the turmeric, red chili powder, and cashew paste. Cook for a few minutes before adding the green peas and paneer.
- Pour in the heavy cream and garam masala. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the gravy thickens.
- Season with salt and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
