Ingredients
- 1 liter full-fat milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
Instructions
- Boil the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
- Once the milk reduces to half its original quantity, add the sugar and cardamom powder. Continue to cook, stirring frequently.
- When the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan, add the ghee and mix well.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Grease your hands with ghee and shape the mixture into small round pedas.
- Place the pedas on a plate and let them cool completely before serving.
