Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the yogurt, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
