Mauritian Lamb Kofta

Ingredients

  • 500g ground lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a small sausage shape.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the koftas for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Serve the lamb koftas hot with your choice of sides.
