Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 raw mango, grated
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 2-3 dried red chilies
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh coconut, grated
  • Few curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add fenugreek seeds, dried red chilies, and asafoetida.
  2. Add grated raw mango, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the raw mango is soft.
  3. Add the cooked rice and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until everything is well combined.
  4. Garnish with fresh grated coconut and curry leaves. Serve hot.
