Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve the Mbatata warm with honey, syrup, or fresh fruit.
