Ingredients

  • 12 lbs honey
  • 1 packet wine yeast
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Sanitize a 1-gallon glass carboy and airlock.
  2. Heat water and honey in a large pot, then cool to room temperature.
  3. Pour the honey water into the carboy and add the wine yeast.
  4. Seal the carboy with the airlock and let it ferment for 4-12 weeks.
  5. Bottle the mead and let it age for at least 1 month before enjoying.
