Ingredients

  • 2 cups meali pap
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the meali pap, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add water gradually to form a thick batter.
