Meat Dumplings (armenian Manti)
Meat dumplings, known as Armenian Manti, are a delicious and savory dish from Caucasian cuisine. These dumplings are filled with seasoned ground meat and steamed to perfection, making them a comforting and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1 package of dumpling wrappers
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup plain yogurt

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground meat, onion, garlic, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place a small amount of the meat mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper over the filling to create a small pocket and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the dumplings in a steamer basket and steam for 20-25 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through.
- Meanwhile, mix the melted butter and yogurt in a bowl to create a sauce.
- Once the dumplings are cooked, serve them with the yogurt sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
