Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, green chilies, coriander, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Shape the mixture into small meatballs.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the yogurt and tomato puree. Cook for a few minutes until the oil separates.
  4. Add the fried meatballs to the curry sauce and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
  5. Sprinkle garam masala and dried fenugreek leaves over the curry before serving.
