Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups beef or vegetable broth
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced

- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
- In a large pot, bring the broth to a simmer. Add the carrots and potatoes, and cook for 10 minutes.
- Gently drop the meatballs into the simmering broth and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Stir in the chopped cilantro and lemon juice. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
