Ingredients
- 250g yellow noodles
- 200g prawns
- 150g chicken breast, sliced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 4 tablespoons chili paste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Sauté the garlic and shallots until fragrant.
- Add the prawns and chicken, and cook until they are no longer pink.
- Pour in the chicken stock, chili paste, soy sauce, tamarind paste, sugar, and ground white pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Add the yellow noodles and bean sprouts, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Divide the mee bandung into serving bowls and serve hot.
