Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the sauce and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  5. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Pour in the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
