Ingredients

  • 4 hake fillets
  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the sliced potatoes in a baking dish and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Season with salt and half of the paprika. Toss to coat the potatoes evenly.
  3. Place the hake fillets on top of the potatoes. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the fish and sprinkle with the remaining paprika.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the potatoes are tender.
  5. Serve the Merluza a la Gallega hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
