Mexican Salsa

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, and minced garlic.
  2. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and stir to combine.
  3. Add salt to taste and stir again.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
