Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 pound pork belly, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 4 cups water
- 3 tablespoons tamarind soup base (sinigang mix)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the pork belly, onion, tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add the tamarind soup base and green beans to the pot. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble the burritos by placing a portion of cooked rice, pork sinigang, lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, and cheddar cheese on each tortilla.
- Roll up the tortillas into burritos and serve immediately.
