Ingredients
- 1 cup millet
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the millet to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until the millet is soft.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the millet cool to room temperature.
- In a blender, combine the cooked millet, yogurt, honey, ground ginger, ground cloves, ground nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve chilled.
