Ingredients

  • 1 cup millet
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the millet to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until the millet is soft.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and let the millet cool to room temperature.
  4. In a blender, combine the cooked millet, yogurt, honey, ground ginger, ground cloves, ground nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve chilled.
