Ingredients
- 2 cups millet
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 cup sugar (optional)

Instructions
- Wash the millet and peanuts, then spread them out to dry.
- Once dry, roast the millet and peanuts in a pan until they are golden brown and fragrant.
- Grind the roasted millet and peanuts, ginger, and cloves into a fine powder.
- Transfer the powder into a large pot and add water to form a smooth, thick paste.
- Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and becomes smooth.
- Add sugar if desired, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove any solids.
- Chill the millet drink in the refrigerator before serving.
