Minsk Meatballs (Фрикадельки)

Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place the meatballs in the skillet and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
  6. Serve the meatballs hot with your favorite side dishes.
