Ingredients

  • 1 cup miso paste
  • 4 cups dashi broth
  • 1 block firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 cup napa cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup daikon radish, sliced
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large nabe pot, combine the miso paste and dashi broth.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Add the tofu, napa cabbage, daikon radish, and shiitake mushrooms to the pot.
  4. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the green onions and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot.
