Ingredients
- 300g firm tofu, cubed
- 200g silken tofu, sliced
- 100g fried tofu, cut into strips
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, cabbage, green beans)
- 4 shallots, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1 teaspoon palm sugar
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the shallots, garlic, and chilies until fragrant.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until they are slightly tender.
- Pour in the vegetable broth, sweet soy sauce, tamarind paste, and palm sugar. Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the firm tofu, silken tofu, and fried tofu. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Finally, add the bean sprouts and cook for 2 more minutes. Season with salt to taste.
