Ingredients

  • 300g firm tofu, cubed
  • 200g silken tofu, sliced
  • 100g fried tofu, cut into strips
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, cabbage, green beans)
  • 4 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 1 teaspoon palm sugar
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the shallots, garlic, and chilies until fragrant.
  2. Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until they are slightly tender.
  3. Pour in the vegetable broth, sweet soy sauce, tamarind paste, and palm sugar. Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the firm tofu, silken tofu, and fried tofu. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. Finally, add the bean sprouts and cook for 2 more minutes. Season with salt to taste.
